Oh, this is beautiful! And very Tolkieny. It really is very much like his drawing and color style except for the lines in your rocks being rounder and I think his would have a little bit of yellow in them. I like your color scheme better. I really love the shape of the picture's outline. It's a lovely piece.

Thank you. I don't often do landscapes, even imaginary ones, so it's very gratifying to hear that it works for you. I find it easy to imagine that if I wandered a bit through those trees, I'd wind up in Rivendell.
