Random Acts of Observation

Sometimes it's awazing how far off one can be in interpretation without that all-important non-vebal component - tone of voice, facial expression, gesture, etc. I'm amazed there aren't more out-and-out Net wars than there are, because the medium of communication is so limited, but its capacity for instantaeoous transmission leads us to treat it almost as if it were speech.
