It was Canada's best showing at Worlds in a very long time: three medals, and four other placements in the top ten (Joannie Rochette was 5th in women's, Megan Duhamel and Craig Buntin were 6th in pairs, Annette Langlois and Cody Hay were 8th i pairs and Patrick Chan was 9th in mens).
