Not that it's a surprise or anything, but I would have been a dismal failure as a 1930s wife, at least according to this test that is supposedly from a real "marital checklist" of good and bad traits for wives. (Thanks to evil_macaroni for the link.)

LOL, I scored a -4 on the wifely scale, even though I said I go to church and take an interest in my husband's (partner's) hobbies!

Maybe you're not supposed to take an interest in his hobbies, becasue that would be infringing on a male sphere of activity. ;-)
